Systems thinking
Financial exclusion, climate action and learning inequality are interconnected, so we tackle them with tools that work together.
We start with a problem, not a product. Here is how we work, and the framework behind every solution we build.
Financial exclusion, climate action and learning inequality are interconnected, so we tackle them with tools that work together.
Each solution stands alone and contributes to a greater ecosystem.
Every solution is designed around the real-world challenges of emerging markets, expat workers and underrepresented communities.
Our founder’s vision blends grassroots empathy with AI capabilities.
ORZYNE, the Origin Engine, is our own framework for innovation and transformation. Its central discipline is simple: never jump from a visible problem to a ready-made solution. We work backwards to the conditions underneath, which the framework calls X: the gaps, constraints, behaviours and opportunities that must change. Only then do we decide what to build.
We discover the real issue by asking what, why, why not and what if.
We set assumptions aside and work backwards from what we see to the conditions underneath it.
We define the problem or opportunity precisely and decide where the innovation should sit.
We choose the pathway: technology, social, business, process, policy or a mix. Then we plan the first version.
We prototype, incubate and test, then turn the idea into a working product, service or system.
We pilot, launch and learn from feedback, then scale or change course. Each cycle starts the next.
Whatever the problem, our solutions are made from three kinds of building blocks. A single solution often combines more than one.
Tools that help people make better decisions and get practical things done.
Platforms that bring people and communities together to learn, collaborate and act.
Smarter ways to live, work and use resources.
The pathway is not always technology. That is why ChonX began as a forum and a toolkit before it became a platform.
